Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Mabuhay Golf (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 14 years old to use the Service. By signing up you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the legal capacity to enter this agreement.

2. Accounts

• One account per person. Per PRD §4.4.2, an account is locked to a single primary role (Player or Caddy) — open separate accounts if you need both.
• You are responsible for keeping your password / OAuth credentials confidential.
• We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

3. Caddy responsibilities

Caddies are independent service providers, not employees of Mabuhay Golf. Caddies must submit government ID and a selfie for KYC review before accepting bookings. We may reject or revoke caddy status at our sole discretion based on the review or subsequent reports.

4. Bookings & payments

• Tee-time prices and caddy bid prices are set by courses and caddies respectively. Mabuhay Golf charges a service fee disclosed at checkout.
• Payments are processed by Stripe, Apple In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing depending on platform and product type. Currency conversion uses the rate quoted at checkout.
• Cancellation and refund rules depend on the course / caddy and are shown before you confirm. Disputes can be filed via in-app support.

5. Matches, scoring & PK games

Matches and PK side-games are organised between consenting players. Any monetary settlement is between the players themselves; Mabuhay Golf only records the score and the agreed PK amount for clarity — we do not process gambling stakes through the App. You are responsible for complying with the laws of your jurisdiction regarding wagering between friends.

6. User content (posts, comments, scorecards)

• You retain ownership of content you post.
• You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, display and reproduce your content within the Service.
• You must not post content that is unlawful, harassing, infringing, or pornographic; we may remove such content and suspend the account.

7. Prohibited use

• Don’t reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service or its security.
• Don’t create fake accounts or impersonate others.
• Don’t use the Service to defraud, harass or stalk other users.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, error-free performance, or the accuracy of third-party data (e.g. course information, tee-time availability). To the maximum extent allowed by law, our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Makati City, except where local consumer-protection law gives you a different right.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced 14 days in advance via email and in-app notice.
